Let me introduce myself ...
I'm Graeme Pope, the founder of Aged Care Music Resources, and my journey from the cockpit of Boeing aircraft to the heart of aged care has been driven by a profound passion for music therapy.
Encountering an extraordinary pianist (John Sidney) at the turn of the century, changed my life's course, opening my eyes to the transformative power of music on the elderly. I feel deeply connected to helping seniors, knowing that music can ignite joy, evoke memories, and foster deep family connections that might otherwise be lost.
For over a decade, I've dedicated myself to creating music resources that serve not only as entertainment but as vital tools for enhancing the lives of seniors. Music therapy is more than a profession to me; it's a calling.
